Uses
Warmers:
Place 5-8 salts on your warmer. You can adjust the fragrance level by the number of salts or the amount of heat on them. If you prefer a stronger scent, add more pieces or turn your light up. If you prefer a subtle scent, take some pieces away or turn down your light. This will allow you to attain your own personal level of fragrance. Periodically shake up your salts. Take them in your hands and rough them up a bit. This sloughs off the dead skin on the salt and rejuvenates the scent. Once the scent is completely gone, break them up to get the rest of the fragrance. The easiest way to break the salt is to fold them in a towel and take a hammer to them. The salt will last anywhere from 1-3 weeks depending on how long the warmer is on and how much heat is applied.
For Light fragrance:
For a light fragrance you can set them in a shallow dish. Start with 8-10 then set to you fragrance level. Periodically shake up your salts. Take them in your hands and rough them up a bit. This sloughs off the dead skin on the salt and rejuvenates the scent
Car:
We suggest to start with 5-8 crystals in a sachet bag. You can adjust your level of fragrance by how many pieces you use in the bag. Place the sachet somewhere with lots of heat and good airflow. Some of the best places to put them are on the dashboard, in an OPEN ashtray, hung from the rear view mirror or hung from the blinker shiftier. You do not want to place the bag under the seat. There is not enough heat or airflow to activate the fragrance. Once the fragrance starts to weaken, shake and break them just like you would if using them on a warmer. DO NOT PLACE ON LEATHER OR WOOD SURFACES! IT WILL RUIN BOTH! The salt will last you about a month in the car. It will last a little longer in the winter and a little less in the summer.
Vacuum:
Bag: Crush 6-7 pieces of salts and drop them into a . This will last you the entire length of your bag.
Bag-less: Put 3 to 4 salts in a sachet bag and drop into canister . When the hot air goes around the salts the smell will evaporate out. When you dump the canister pull the bag off the then put back into canister This will last you anywhere from 4-7 vacuums depending on how often you vacuum.
Rainbow: Place 2-3 pieces of salt directly into the rainbow. The salt will dissolve in the water. It will last until you change the water out.
Whole house vacuum: Unfortunately, our product will only freshen the garage where the central vac is located. The fragrance will not penetrate into the home.
Bath:
Place 5-8 pieces of salt in the bath while the water is running. This will allow the salt to dissolve and give you both a fragrance and an Aroma Therapy benefit. The salt is also beneficial to the skin. The salt will turn the water a pretty color but it will NOT stain you or the tub. Be careful not to use any Cinnamon or Leather in your bath water. These particular oils are too strong and will irritate the skin.
Hot Tub:
Place 10-15 in the hot tub and enjoy. The amount of salts may vary due to the size of your hot tub or to the level of fragrance you like.
Athletic Bag:
Crush 3-5 pieces of salt in a mesh bag and place in the athletic bag to help absorb the moisture and the smell.
Shoes:
Crush 3-5 pieces of salt in a mesh bag and place in each shoe to help absorb the moisture and the smell.
Closets:
Place 5-8 pieces of salt into a mesh bag and hang in the closet. When the fragrance starts to weaken, shake and break them as you would if you were using them on a warmer.
Drawers:
Place 5-8 pieces of salt into a mesh bag and place inside the drawer. When the fragrance starts to weaken, shake and break them as you would if you were using them on a warmer.
Garbage cans or Diaper Pales:
Place 5-8 pieces of salt in the bottom and place the bag on top. This will help with any odor. When the fragrance starts to weaken, shake and break them as you would if you were using them on a warmer.
Backpacks:
Place 5-8 pieces in the bottom of the bag. This will absorb any odor that may be present or to just smell good. When the fragrance starts to weaken, shake and break them as you would if you were using them on a warmer.
